Adventures!

Well, in case you were wondering, I still have the cutest little boy EVER!  It's been a lot of fun to have Nana Jane here.  She's helped out a lot because Morgan has has paper after project after paper after classes after paper.  But today is his first day when he doesn't have anything!  Woohoo.

Last night he had a project presentation for his engineering class.  This is the class with most of his friends so we decided to take Henry so he could meet daddy's friends.  Henry and Morgan both did so good!  It was freezing out so we had to bundle up a lot.  On the way back we were walking through Harvard Yard and Henry started screaming!  I couldn't take him out because it was so cold but he was clearly in distress.  Luckily, Nana was able to find his binky and hold it in his mouth just long enough to make it to the science center.  There we found an empty classroom so I could feed him (he already ate the bottle I had prepared for the trip- not enough I guess!).

Man, it's crazy all the baggage that comes with taking a baby out.  If I would have made the trip by myself all I would have taken was my wallet and phone.  With Henry we had the stroller, car seat, blankets, diaper bag, diapers, wipes, extra clothes, burp rags, bottle, ect.

We're just about getting a routine down.  Henry now sleeps most of the night and usually only gets up to feed.  Around 6 he'll be awake for an hour or so and then take another nap.  During the day it's whatever he feels like.

I think subconsciously I knew about all the things that come with new babies but I never really thought about them so much.  For example, not sleeping through the night.  I knew it was going to happen but didn't really think about what that meant :)  Or the fact that milk is everywhere... man, I've got to do a lot to keep my ladies under control! ha.  It's all really fun to figure out.

These are a couple pictures Melissa Faustino took of Henry.  She also took some family ones that turned out great too.  I'm saving most of them for the Christmas card  but I thought I could post a couple.
